About us

With over 20 years of experience, in the Mexican Energy Association we work to be a landmark in the development of the Mexican energy sector. We strive to keep contributing to the economic and social growth of the country by investing in gas generation plants.

Currently, the Association is integrated by 12 leading companies of the energy industry, which represent nearly 24,065 MW of installed capacity from combined cycle electricity generation, amounting for 29% of the total capacity in the country, with more that 25 billion dollars in investment. These companies significantly add to the development of other technologies such as co-generation and renewable energy capacities with wind and photovoltaic plants.

In order to further the development of the energy sector and related industries, our main activities include:

MONITORING

market conditions in the various energy sectors on a regular basis

INFORMING AND UPDATING

our partners regarding relevant matters which have an impact in the industry and their activities

ESTABLISHING

continuous communication with organizations and entities within the public sector, so partners and authorities can work together on the advancement of the energy industry.

BEING A DISCUSSION FORUM

to evaluate the alternatives for the development of the energy sector, providing legal and technical assistance.
